Title & Purpose

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:

for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand, Joel 2:1.

All quotations from the Scriptures will be from the Authorised Version - the best and most accurate English translation of the Scriptures.

Please see Sermons & Articles further down the Blog about why the Authorised Version is the best and most accurate English translation of the Scriptures

and why we reject the many perversions of the Scriptures, including those so beloved of many neo-evangelicals at present such as ESV & NKJV.

A poignant reminder of the past!

Border Trail of IRA Slaughter
During the Troubles in South East Fermanagh 42 Protestants were cruelly murdered by IRA/Sinn Fein. A tour has now been organised, by the relatives, in memory of these 42 individuals who were brutally murdered. The South East Fermanagh Foundation (SEFF) Border Trail allows people to pay tribute to the memory and walk respectfully in the footsteps of some of those individuals who were murdered.

A fuller report can be read in The Belfast Newsletter

This is a reminder of the terrorist pedigree of some of the present day members of the Stormont Executive and Assembly.

Promotion of the wicked in this fashion will not work for any society. The judgement and chastisement of God will fall upon those who do so. Even more so where is a knowledge of the wrong done. It is faulty logic to argue that buying off the terrorists will result in a peaceful prosperous society. Those who argue along this line have forgotten, denied or plainly rejected the teaching of the Scriptures on the law of the harvest - you reap what you sow:
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting, Galatians 6:6,7

There used to be a oft repeated phrase employed in the past about Ulster's Troubles that: 'they have sown the wind and they will reap the whirlwind'. Reward terrorism with places in government, for whatever fleshly reason, and you will reap the whirlwind of God's displeasure. This Province has yet to fully learn that lesson but it will be one that it be taught as sure as night follows day. You simply cannot do that which is unscriptural, unethical and immoral and escape the divine consequences. God's mill of justice grinds slow but it grinds exceedingly small.
