“Platform fellowship’ is a phrase coined to describe the artificial distinction some see in the relationship, or fellowship, experienced among participants in a conference situation. Sometimes this conference scenario primarily involves preaching, while in others it is primarily academic in nature. However, when a conference is theological or involves handling the truth of God in any form, it cannot simply be regarded as academic, whether it involves preachers or seminarians.

Off topic - but wow... I was listening to your sermon entitled The Travail of Christ's soul... As I was listening I wondered how long it was that Christ hung on the cross, the web page I found quoted MARK 15:25-37 - as I was reading Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? -- you said it at the time in your sermon!
What are the chances?!

To answer your question: Jesus Christ was crucified at the third hour of the day, which in our timing would be 9.00 am. The Jewish day ran from 6 am to 6 pm, Mark 15:25: And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
Some time after the ninth hour [3 pm] the Saviour yielded up His life. The middle cry of the seven that came from His lips did so at the ninth hour, Mark 15:34: And at the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? which is, being interpreted, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?
Some time after this He uttered the remaining three cries from the cross and died. Sometime before the new Jewish day commenced at the twelfth hour of the day, or 6 pm as we know it, His body was taken down from the cross.

I was wondering does separation extend to those who take part in services as well?
Take for example, if there were a group of singers from the Free Presbyterian Church. Should they be forbidden to go and sing at churches that teach error?

There would be an obvious distinction between Free Presbyterian members and attenders.
A recent document drawn up by the Presbytery restating our historic position on Separation, to be published and printed shortly for distributed, applies the teaching of the New Testament on separation and secondary separation to members.
The reason for this is that the commands in the New Testament on separation are not included in the sections relating to ministers or elders only but in those general sections applying to all believers.
