Title & Purpose

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:

for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand, Joel 2:1.

Deputy Prime Minister calls 70% of the population 'bigots'

Nick Clegg, the Deputy Prime Minister in the Westminster government, has had to withdraw the text of a speech he was going to make because it referred to those who opposed 'Gay Marriage' as 'bigots'.

This is despite a recent ComRes opinion poll conducted in the United Kingdom showing by a majority of 70% to 22%, the remainder undecided, there was agreement that "Marriage should continue to be defined as a life-long exclusive commitment between a man and a woman."

Those who object to the redefining of marriage are always lectured about showing tolerance. It is a strange sort of tolerance shown by the supporters of 'Gay Marriage' when they call others 'bigots'. The Green Party in mainland United Kingdom and in Northern Ireland are intending to expel anyone who disagrees with their support of 'Gay Marriage'. One councillor in Brighton, England has already been expelled and Steven Agnew, leader of the Green Party in Northern Ireland has indicated that the same will happen in Northern Ireland to any who oppose 'Gay Marriage'.
