Title & Purpose

Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble:

for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand, Joel 2:1.

Feeding the Crocodile & Offending God

This week DUP leader Arlene Foster has notched up an unwanted double achievement. In the same week she has managed to feed the crocodile she vowed never to do, prior to the most recent Assembly election; but much more seriously, she has offended God.

Following on from attending requiem mass for Martin McGuiness when he died, Arlene Foster attended the Ulster GAA final in Clones on the Lord's day.

She has trampled once more over more of our Protestant, Reformed, gospel heritage and treated it as if it were a worthless blessing. If media reports are correct, before this week is out, she will act contrary to the truths of the Gospel, and offend God even more, by attending a sodomite function at Stormont.

Her conduct is objectionable on a number of fronts:

Firstly, Desecration of the Lord's day. The fourth commandment requires us to remember the sabbath day to keep it holy. The Lord's day is not a day for unnecessary employment or for recreation. It is a day to be set aside for worship. We have six other days to engage in these other activities. To desecrate the sabbath day is to steal this day from God and use it for ourselves.

There is a blessing upon sabbath observance, Isaiah 58:13,14: If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

The opposite of this Scriptural principle is also true. It was sabbath desecration that finally took the nation of Israel into captivity. You don't need to be a prophet or the son of a prophet to know that it will not go well with any individual, society or nation when they desecrate the Lord's day.

Secondly, Attendance at a GAA football match. This the same GAA which has a notorious history of naming its stadia and competitions after dead terrorists.

Sinn Fein/IRA don't like being questioned about their terrorist past

A RTE* presenter Miriam O'Callaghan is under attack from Sinn Fein/IRA for putting tough questions to the late Martin McGuinness about his links to IRA killings.

The Prime Time broadcaster's work has been described as "utterly repulsive" by the new party leader of Sinn Fein, Mary Lou McDonald.

The attack on the "southern media" comes amid allegations in Northern Ireland that Sinn Fein is trying to censor the media. The party denies orchestrating a campaign to boycott the Stephen Nolan Show on BBC NI, and criticised U105 presenter Frank Mitchell after he indicated his support for the Northern Ireland football team.

The Eulogising of an Unrepentant Terrorist Continues

A portrait of the unrepentant terrorist Martin McGuinness has been unveiled at Stormont, one day after the anniversary of the former deputy first minister's death. It will hang in the same corridors as a painting of former Northern Ireland first minister Ian Paisley.

McGuinness's family attended the unveiling along with unionist leaders such as Peter Robinson and Arlene Foster.

Read here: BBC News - Martin McGuinness portrait unveiled at Stormont

It is utterly sickening to see the continued eulogising of an unrepentant terrorist. As someone commented about McGuinness "The gravestones are monument enough".

It is even more grieving when unionist leaders join in with this eulogising of an unrepentant terrorist and defend their attendance. It is little wonder unionism is in such a sorry state when it is led by those so lacking in principle.
Stephen Gault, who was injured himself in the Enniskillen bombing which also killed his father has said he is “sickened by the glorification” of former IRA commander Martin McGuinness.

Hands That Shed Innocent Blood with reference to Martin McGuinness

There are seven things which God is said to hate. This divine truth is stated in Proverbs 6:16-19: These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

One of those things that God is said to hate are the hands that shed innocent blood. In other words it the murderer that God hates.

The murderer engages in the devil's activity. The devil is described as a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him, John 8:44. To murder is to the devil's work.

The Corruption and Perversion of Justice in Northern Ireland

The BBC, and other news agencies, are reporting that 95 of 228 republicans who have received the controversial comfort letters from the government have been linked to a staggering 295 murders associated with the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

These comfort letters informed these republican terrorists that they were no longer wanted for terrorist crimes committed before the 1998 Good Friday Agreement. Some of these 95 individuals are described as being 'notorious', which means that they are known to the public. Read more here

This disturbing fact, revealed today by the Police Service of Northern Ireland, would suggest that some of them are politicians, possibly even sitting in government at Stormont! We are ruled over the by those who are grossly wicked. Sadly many, without an ounce of conviction or concern, love to have it so.

A Grubby Peace built upon Grubby Deals

Peace at any price, and peace without justice, isn't worth having. Sadly, peace at any price, and peace without justice, is what the people of Northern Ireland have had served up to them for the last decade and more. Sadder still is the fact that many in Ulster love to have it so.

The revelation that a sordid litany of amnesty deals have been agreed with IRA terrorists so that they can escape prosecution for their vile crimes is the latest revelation to surface to indicate the squalid nature of the 'Peace' that presently exists in Northern Ireland. See here.

What makes it all the more nauseating is that IRA/SinnFein, and their ilk, have been lobbying vociferously to have soldiers and policemen held accountable for their actions in lawfully combating terrorists during the Troubles. It is little wonder they can't keep the smirk off their face as they chuckle their way through government.

Any peace process that involves buying off the terrorist; the subsequent elevation of these same terrorists to high government office and all the other concessions to the perpetrators of terror is immoral, unethical and unscriptural. Those who have long argued this to be the case are justified with every passing day in opposing what passes for government at Stormont.

A poignant reminder of the past!

Border Trail of IRA Slaughter
During the Troubles in South East Fermanagh 42 Protestants were cruelly murdered by IRA/Sinn Fein. A tour has now been organised, by the relatives, in memory of these 42 individuals who were brutally murdered. The South East Fermanagh Foundation (SEFF) Border Trail allows people to pay tribute to the memory and walk respectfully in the footsteps of some of those individuals who were murdered.

Imagine the outcry if this had been Israelis on the moterbikes!

Can you imagine the frenzied outcry of the appeasers of Arab terrorism if this had been the other way around and Israel had dealt with calibrators in this fashion.

Who's losing their moral compass????

It is more than the SDLP who have lost their 'moral compass'!!

It is just as morally wrong to prop up unrepentant terrorists in government as it is to criticise the imprisonment of a convicted bomber and an IRA gunman.

Dodds says SDLP ‘pitching for dissident support’
